Southern Ground/BMLG/Varvatos2015 is halfway over, so Rolling Stone has rounded up its list of the 45 Best Albums of 2015 So Far. Zac Brown Band‘s Jekyll + Hyde made the cut along with Chris Stapleton‘s debut project, Traveller.

It won’t be out until June 23, but Kacey Musgraves‘ sophomore album, Pageant Material, is also mentioned on Rolling Stone‘s unranked list. Projects from Madonna, Bob Dylan and Drake also made the list.

CMAJason Aldean and his wife, Brittany, plan to extend their family with a new baby, but they’re not in any hurry to start diaper duty.

“It’s definitely something we’ve talked about,” Jason says, “but I also think that we’ve only been married a couple months and I think enjoying that and sort of not being in too big of a hurry to do that. Just sort of enjoy being married and our time first and sort of ease into that.”

CMABrad Paisley takes a break from his own Crushin’ It World Tour Wednesday night to open for The Rolling Stones‘ at Nashville’s LP Field. It’s been years since Brad’s opened for another artist, but he didn’t think twice when the Stones asked him to be their special guest. Rascal Flatts, Kid Rock and Ed Sheeran are among the other headliners opening for the Stones on their current Zip Code tour.

Mercury NashvilleKacey Musgraves wanted to have a fabulous album release party for her sophomore project, Pageant Material, so she enlisted the drag queens of Nashville gay bar, Play, to perform the album for her friends and industry insiders. The party took place Monday night in front of a capacity crowd, but Kacey and her publicist friend, Elice Cuff, dreamed up the party during Elice’s recent birthday bash at Play.

Burke/Triolo Productions/ThinkstockThe CMA Music Festival set an attendance record with 87,680 fans attending each day of the four-day festival. That’s a 9.6 percent increase over 2014 attendance numbers.

Dierks Bentley is releasing “Riser” as the follow-up to his latest #1 hit, “Say You Do.”

Alabama and Hunter Hayes will perform on PBS’s A Capitol Fourth coming up Saturday, July 4. Check local listings for air time.

Warner Music NashvilleHunter Hayes, Scotty McCreery and The Swon Brothers are among the stars taking part in the 6th Annual ACM Lifting Lives Music Camp June 19 through 23 in Nashville. The ACM partners with the Vanderbilt Kennedy Center for Excellence in Developmental Disabilities to host the camp every summer. The program offers musical enrichment for individuals with Williams Syndrome.

The campers will take part in songwriting and recording sessions with the country stars. The week closes out with a live performance at the Grand Ole Opry with Hunter Hayes Tuesday, June 23.

Sony Music NashvilleTyler Farr recorded his latest single, “Withdrawals,” because he could relate to the raw emotion in the lyrics. He wanted the video for “Withdrawals” to reflect the songs anguish, so he did quite a bit of research to come up with the clip’s concept.

Nino Munoz/Capitol NashvilleDierks Bentley and Brad Paisley are among the performers on NBC’s Macy’s 4th of July Fireworks Spectacular coming up Saturday, July 4 at 8 p.m. ET. Kelly Clarkson and Meghan Trainor are also singing during the two-hour special airing from New York City.

Macy’s 4th of July Fireworks Spectacular will feature the Big Apple’s 25-minute fireworks display, complete with 50,000 pyrotechnic shells.
