Garth Brooks‘ 18-year-old daughter, Allie, joined him on background vocals for his entire Sunday night show in Chicago, according to CMT.com.

Luke Bryan has added a show at The Forum in Los Angeles on October 26 to close out his That’s My Kind of Night tour. He’ll play the Hollywood Bowl on October 25, too.

Image Courtesy Chris Spinks/Billy Bob’s TexasChris Young played the second sold-out show of his career at Billy Bob’s in Ft. Worth, Texas over the weekend. Nearly 6,000 fans were on hand for the show, which was Chris’s first time playing the Dallas/Ft. Worth area in almost three years.

He says, “Billy Bob’s is one of my absolute favorite venues to play. I always say I love playing anywhere in Texas and that goes double for this venue.”

Capitol NashvilleDarius Rucker‘s first Christmas album, Home for the Holidays, is due out October 27 featuring two song Darius co-wrote for the project — “Candy Cane Christmas” and “What God Wants for Christmas.” He also teams up with Sheryl Crow for a duet on the holiday classic “Baby, It’s Cold Outside.”

Darius says, “I am so excited to finally make a Christmas album. This has been a lifelong dream and I hope my fans enjoy listening as much as I enjoyed making it.”

CMATop nominees Luke Bryan, Miranda Lambert, Blake Shelton and Keith Urban are the first performers confirmed for the 48th Annual CMA Awards. All four artists are nominated for Entertainer of the Year along with that category’s reigning champ, George Strait.

Carrie Underwood and Brad Paisley will host the CMA Awards for a seventh consecutive year on Wednesday, November 5. The show airs live that night from Nashville at 8 ET on ABC. More performers will be announced soon.

UMG/Sonya JasinskiBrothers Osborne went back to their hometown of Deale, Maryland to shoot the video for their latest single, “Rum.” The cast of characters in the clip all hail from Deale as well, which may explain the duo’s T.J. and John Osborne‘s offbeat senses of humor.

At first the director wanted to go to Deale to find off-the-wall people to appear in the video, but T.J. says they assured him they’d just call on their old friends and family that still lived there.
