In a new promo video that shows the country star sitting in his chair from The Voice while scenes from former Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards hosts Will Smith, Josh Duhamel, Nick Jonas, The Rock and Jack Black play behind him, he confirms he’ll host this year’s show.

David McClisterChris Young is beginning the new year by extending his current world tour in support of his forthcoming album, I’m Comin’ Over.

The tour was previously mapped out through a December 5 date in Green Bay, WI, before resuming April 23 in Frisco, TX. He’s now added 13 dates in that space, beginning January 21 in Lowell, MA through February 26 in Baltimore, MD.

Miranda Lambert finished eighth on Forbes’ Highest-Paid Women in Music list, earning $28.5 million. Katy Perry was number one with $135 million, while Taylor Swift finished second with $80 million.

Trace Adkins, Big & Rich, Tyler Farr, Joe Nichols and Easton Corbin will all play the 25th Annual Country Jam June 16-19 in Grand Junction, Colorado.

Having already had tunes cut by Tim McGraw and Kelly Clarkson, the singer/songwriter not only had a hand in composing all the tracks on the project, she also produced them as well.

Charles and Marin kick off The Driver Tour November 28 with their first show in Cleveland, Ohio.
