Country newcomer Kelsea Ballerini will release her debut album, The First Time, on May 19. Her debut single, “Love Me Like You Mean It,” is now climbing the country chart.

“There’s also a line in there about kids and about life,” Eric explains. “Yeah, it’s about lighters. It’s about drinks. One verse is about, you know, black umbrellas, about a funeral. It’s a very serious song. And plain and simple, it’s just a hit.”

Eric goes so far as to say “Raise ‘Em Up” could even be a hit in Portuguese.

Lynyrd Skynyrd — One More for the Fans! features the famed Southern rockers and an impressive cast of other music stars performing some of the band’s best-loved songs.

Among the many other artists who participated in the show were Gregg Allman, Peter Frampton, Cheap Trick, Charlie Daniels and Donnie Van Zant.

Of course, Brett has some obligations to fulfill before he starts his water polo ping pong training. He’s set to perform at the ACM Party for a Cause April 17 and 18 in Arlington, TX before joining Darius Rucker‘s Southern Style Tour May 14.

Craig Campbell‘s 3rd Annual Celebrity Cornhole Challenge raised more than $100,000 for colorectal cancer education, research and prevention last Sunday in Nashville. Jerrod Niemann and Charlie Worsham were among the stars taking part in the concert following the Cornhole Challenge.
