Burke/Triolo Productions/Thinkstock Sara Evans performed “The Star-Spangled Banner” before game two of the World Series last night as the New York Mets took on the Kansas City Royals.

Chris Young and Brenda Lee were just two of the folks who helped Charlie Daniels raise more than $100,000 at his Birthday Bash this week in Nashville. The money will go to help veterans through The Journey Home Project.

Lady Antebellum‘s Charles Kelley presented a check for $150,000 to the National Association for Music Education Tuesday night in Nashville. The money from the CMA Foundation will further music education through grants, scholarships and research.
