The Love Has Been Spread: Kenny Chesney Wraps Summer Tour

ABC/Image Group LAKenny Chesney wrapped up this year’s Spread the Love tour on Saturday, playing for more than 121,000 fans over two nights at the home of the New England Patriots just outside of Boston, Massachusetts. All totaled, the “Setting the World on Fire” hitmaker notched 15 sell-outs over the summer.

Kenny saved several surprises for his final weekend, playing “Guitars and Tiki Bars” for the first time on the trek, joking he used to wear a beeper back when he wrote the song. Old Dominion provided the harmonies for a version of the Eagles‘ “Take It Easy,” while Miranda Lambert …read more

BBR Music GroupThis summer, Randy Houser‘s been busy opening Dierks Bentley‘s Somewhere on a Beach tour. In addition to Cam and Tucker Beathard, there’s another added attraction on the trek — Randy’s right-hand man, his one-year-old Goldendoodle Hawk.

“He does great!” Randy says of his prowess as a road dog. “He hasn’t really had any accidents on the bus or anything. He’s the smartest dog I’ve ever been around in my life. He catches on to everything really fast, so we don’t have to worry about it. He’s learned so much so fast!”

It’s a partnership between the CMA and the Country Music Hall of Fame to celebrate the 50th anniversary of both the CMA Awards and the opening of the museum.

Newcomer Tucker Beathard will play his second headlining tour of the United Kingdom and Ireland, starting December 3 in Dublin.

David Nail‘s new single is “Good at Tonight,” which features Brothers Osborne.

Dolly Records/RCA NashvilleIt’s been a big week for Dolly Parton! Her latest album, Pure & Simple, is expected to debut at number one on the country albums chart, according to Billboard, with first-week sales anticipated at around twenty-thousand.

This would be the first time the Country Music Hall of Famer has topped the albums tally since 1991’s Eagle When She Flies. Dolly’s most recent effort, Blue Smoke, debuted at number-two in 2014.
