Since she hails from Tennessee, band member Hillary Scott wasn’t sure she’d get to share the honor with band mates, Georgia natives Dave Haywood and Charles Kelley.

Alan’s band members say they don’t remember him ever playing a show that lasted over two hours. The usually-reserved Alan also talked to the audience quite a bit throughout the night.

Even though he could lose his man card over it, Thomas admits he actually read the book, but he knows he’s not alone in his love for Nicholas Sparks books and movies.

Image Courtesy Sony Legacy RecordingsSomeone just paid $37,000 to own Willie Nelson‘s braids at an auction in Phoenix.

According to The Dallas Morning News, Willie’s hair was part of a 2,000-item lot belonging to the late Waylon Jennings. Willie cut his braids off in 1983 to support Waylon’s sobriety and presented them to his friend at a party that year hosted by Johnny Cash. Waylon passed away in 2002.

The contract between Waylon, Willie, Johnny and Kris Kristofferson for their collaboration as The Highwaymen was also included in the auction.
