Nashville notes

Burke/Triolo Productions/Thinkstock 2001 CMA Female Vocalist of the Year Lee Ann Womack will kick off her fall tour September 8 in St. Charles, Missouri. Her new album, The Lonely, the Lonesome & the Gone, is due October 27.

Craig Morgan will launch the Gallery at Morgan Farms, in his hometown of Dickson, Tennessee. The farm-to-home business will focus on making products from reclaimed, repurposed and recycled materials.

Eric Church‘s band recently raised nearly $204,000 for MusiCares, the charitable arm of the Grammys. This is the sixth year Eric’s musicians have hosted their Put a Club in My Hand golf tournament.

ABC/Ida Mae AstuteGarth Brooks will headline next year’s Stagecoach festival, according to Billboard which cites unnamed sources.

The giant country festival is set to take place April 27-29 at Empire Polo Grounds in Indio, California.

Headliners in 2017 where Dierks Bently, Shania Twain and Kenny Chesney.

If the report turns out to be accurate, it will be the first time Garth has played a major festival of this sort. In 2018, Brooks also is set to both open and close the Houston Rodeo with concerts on February 27 and March 18.

CMANewcomers Luke Combs and Kane Brown are teaming up for a new episode of American Public Television’s Front and Center.

The show will take place September 5 at the Franklin Theatre, on the outskirts of Nashville. Luke and Kane will share the stage with some of the songwriters who helped them craft the tunes on their debut albums. Tickets are on sale now at FranklinTheatre.com.

Capitol NashvilleLuke Bryan will do his new single “Light It Up” on the stage of the Grand Ole Opry on Wednesday, September 13, during a show dedicated to Country Cares for St. Jude Kids.

Longtime St. Jude supporter Randy Owen also is on the bill, along with childhood cancer survivor Clare Bowen from CMT’s Nashville. A St. Jude patient will serve as the Opry’s guest announcer that night, with five dollars from every ticket sold going to help the Memphis hospital that works to end childhood cancer.
