Believe it or not, the mythical Bigfoot may be partially to thank for the song’s success.

Though he’d previously indicated his next single was likely to come from his next studio album, the Georgia native is releasing one more song from his sixth record.

“Wake Me Up” is the fifth radio song from Summer Forever. “Do I Make You Wanna,” “It Don’t Hurt Like It Used To,” and “Don’t It” all made it to the top of the chart.

Though the “Losing Sleep” hitmaker grew up on the outskirts of Nashville, he lived in Arlington, Texas before signing his record deal with RCA. He also owns a home, and has family and close friends, in the storm’s path.

ABC/Randy HolmesWith two dates this weekend in the Lone Star State, Lady Antebellum found themselves almost in the eye of the storm as Hurricane Harvey assaulted Texas.

The trio was forced to cancel their Saturday show in Houston, but made the decision to give all their merchandise sales from Friday’s concert to relief efforts.

“Thank you guys so much for showing up,” Charles Kelley told the crowd in Dallas. “I know Texas is strong and we’ve got a hurricane going on and…we’re gonna donate all the merch sales tonight to the relief fund.”
