ValoryThomas Rhett took home two trophies at Sunday night’s ACM Awards in Las Vegas and he’s hoping to live up to those expectations once again with his upcoming album.

Thomas revealed he spent the first part of the year recording a bunch of songs, and he now has the tough job of selecting his favorites for an album.

Photo by Jeff Kravitz/Getty Images via ABCAlthough Blake Shelton had no ACM nominations this year, the likely reason he didn’t attend Sunday night’s ceremony stems from the fact that he was needed in his hometown of Tishomingo, Oklahoma.

On Monday, Blake joined his partners and town leaders to host the official construction kickoff event for Ole Red Tishomingo, an entertainment venue based on Blake’s hit song “Ole Red.”

The Tishomingo location is set to open in September or October, according to Ryman Hospitality CEO Colin Reed. Reed joined Blake on-site at the future location and revealed renderings …read more

ABC/Image Group LALuke Bryan has made history. He’s the first artist in Billboard Country airplay chart history to land six number-ones from the same album at the top.

Luke’s “Fast,” the sixth single from his album Kill the Lights, jumps one space this week to give him the 18th chart-topper of his career.

“Fast,” co-written by Luke with Rodney Clawson and Luke Laird, follows the album’s first five Country Airplay number-ones: “Kick the Dust Up,” “Strip It Down,” “Home Alone Tonight,” featuring Karen Fairchild of Little Big Town; “Huntin’, Fishin’ & Lovin’ Every Day,” and “Move.”

Broken Bow RecordsIt’s been right at four years since Dustin Lynch made his official debut on Jimmy Kimmel Live with his song, “She Cranks My Tractor.”

Tomorrow night, April 4, Dustin will return to the late-night show to debut his new single, “Small Town Boy.”

April 11, Dustin returns to Nashville to perform for a much smaller audience, but one with a unique theme. Famed Music City venue Exit/In will host ‘90’s Night: One of The Greatest Decades of Country Music. In addition to Dustin, artists scheduled to perform include Lauren Alaina, Craig Campbell and Michael Ray.
