Craig Campbell Gets Flirty in New “Tomorrow Tonight” Video

Broken Bow Label GroupCraig Campbell‘s flirty new single, “Tomorrow Tonight” is out. The clip tells the story’s song using playful text messages between Craig and his co-star, actress Sulivan Mellencamp, as a split screen shows them getting ready to meet up for a romantic date.

Says Craig, “I had to break out my acting skills for this one. It definitely shows a side of me that has not been on camera yet. I’m excited for everyone to finally see it!”

CMARascal Flatts has been going strong for 15 years now, but that’s nothing compared to the 53-year career of their heroes, The Rolling Stones. CMA/Donn JonesCountry singer Lynn Anderson, best known for her 1970 Grammy-winning crossover hit “Rose Garden,” died of a heart attack Thursday night at Nashville’s Vanderbilt University Medical Center. She was 67 and had been hospitalized for pneumonia following a trip to Italy.

Lynn Anderson was born September 26, 1947 in Grand Forks, North Dakota and raised in California. Her parents were songwriters Casey and Liz Anderson, and Liz wrote the Merle Haggard hits “(My Friends Are Gonna Be) Strangers” and “I’m a Lonesome Fugitive.”

CMABrad Paisley has signed on as a mentor on NBC’s The Voice this fall. According to Us Weekly, Brad will mentor Blake Shelton‘s team on the show’s upcoming ninth season.

Other mentors this season include Selena Gomez for Gwen Stefani’s team, John Fogerty for Adam Levine‘s team and Missy Elliott for Pharrell Williams‘ team.

The Voice returns September 21 at 8 p.m. ET on NBC.

EB Media PREric Church opened Nashville’s brand-new Ascend Amphitheater Thursday night with a sold-out acoustic show. According to The Tennessean, Eric kicked off the show by playing “Smoke a Little Smoke” and “Talladega” alone on his guitar. An onstage bar gave band members a place to hang out until Eric called them up to join him throughout the night.

Since the show was acoustic, the audience often was louder than Eric’s singing, and that came in handy when Eric messed up the words to some of his more obscure songs.
