The trek kicks off October 10 in Lincoln, Nebraska, and eight more dates will be announced soon. Jon’s set list will include his hits “Up All Night” and “Missin’ You Crazy” in addition to his current single, “What I Can’t Put Down.”

Jon is currently on the road with Dierks Bentley‘s Riser Tour.

According to Rolling Stone, the Doobies trade vocals with country’s hottest stars, including Zac Brown Band on “Black Water.” Blake Shelton sings and Hunter Hayes plays guitar on a new version of “Listen to the Music,” and Toby Keith contributes vocals to “Long Train Runnin’.”

Southbound also marks the first time Doobie Brothers lead vocalists Michael McDonald and Tom Johnston have appeared on the same Doobie Brothers album since 1976’s Takin’ It to the Streets.

Image Courtesy CMABrad Paisley and Carrie Underwood are returning to host the 48th Annual CMA Awards November 5 on ABC. This is their seventh time emceeing the event, which takes place at Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena.

The announcement was made on People‘s Instagram account using Brad and Carrie bobble head dolls. The conversation bubbles between the dolls have Brad telling Carrie she needs to cut down her wardrobe changes this year. Frankly, we don’t see that happening.
