Not bad for a girl going nowhere: Ashley McBryde is 2018’s Best New Act, according to critics

Atlantic/Warner NashvilleAshley McBryde‘s current single, “Girl Goin’ Nowhere,” was inspired by a teacher in her native Arkansas who predicted her musical dreams would never happen.

Though it’s a story she often shares in concert, Ashley says her algebra teacher was far from the only naysayer she encountered.

Martina McBride will Party with a Purpose before the Super Bowl in Atlanta

ABC/Image Group LAMartina McBride will headline this year’s NFL Party with a Purpose before the Super Bowl next month in Atlanta.

The 28th annual event raises money for food banks all across the country. In its quarter-century history, the Party with a Purpose has provided 200 million meals to help feed the hungry.

The Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum gets “Current” with new superstar revamp of ongoing exhibit

Country Music Hall of Fame and MuseumThe first new exhibit of 2019 at the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum will be a revamp of the Nashville attraction’s ongoing American Currents display.

American Currents: The Music of 2018 will feature significant artifacts from Jason Aldean, Brothers Osborne, Kane Brown, Luke Combs, Dan + Shay, Florida Georgia Line, Miranda Lambert, Ashley McBryde, Reba McEntire, Carly Pearce, Pistol Annies, Chris Stapleton, Carrie Underwood, Keith Urban and many more.

The exhibit is set to open Friday, March 8 and run through February 8 of next year.

ABC/Image Group LALuke Bryan, Cole Swindell and newcomer Jon Langston teased it on their socials Thursday morning with a picture, and now it’s official: Luke, Cole, and Jon will head out on the Sunset Repeat Tour in 2019.

The trek officially kicks off May 31 in Philadelphia, after Luke wraps the second season of American Idolon ABC. The show premieres Sunday, March 3.
