EMI Records NashvilleEric Paslay‘s country music comrades turned out on a Tuesday night to see the “Friday Night” hitmaker preview material from his sophomore album. It was standing room only at Nashville’s Marathon Music Works, as label mate Mickey Guyton opened the show.

“It’s so fun getting to play new songs for all the friendly faces I see tonight,” Eric told the crowd. “Thank ya’ll for letting us be dreamers.” Along the way, Jake Owen joined him on stage to sing the big hit Eric wrote for him, “Barefoot Blue Jean Night.”

Columbia NashvilleTyler Farr is canceling all his concert dates for the next few months and immediately going on vocal rest after undergoing microlaryngeal surgery to remove a polyp on his vocal chords. The operatically-trained singer first noticed he was having problems during his summer tour with Jason Aldean, but didn’t discover exactly what the issue was until he suffered through a severe round of bronchitis at the end of the year.
