Sony Music Nashville Even though Kane Brown is one of the most-nominated country artists at next month’s American Music Awards, the “Lose It” hitmaker is still pretty low-key about the whole affair.

“It feels great, man, because I’m still new to the game,” he tells ABC Radio. “So just being nominated, you know, you just feel accomplished for the work that you’re doing.”

Kane will vie for Male Artist, Album and Song for “Heaven” in the country categories during the Tuesday, October 9 AMAs on ABC.

After that, he’ll focus his attention on his second album, titled Experiment, which comes out November 9. …read more

Atlantic/Warner Music NashvilleThe “One That Got Away” takes Michael Ray on a romantic, impromptu jaunt around South Beach in the new music video for his latest hit.

Even though Michael himself is a Florida native, he was eager to embrace a part of the Sunshine State he didn’t know quite so well.

“We wanted to treat Miami as its own character in this video,” he says, “because we felt that this city really had a personality and an energy of its own — reminiscent of the energy I feel on stage night-after-night, city-after-city when we play this song live.”

Capitol NashvilleCarrie Underwood sports elaborate pink-and-purple “glitter tears” on the cover of both her Cry Pretty album, and in the video for the title track.

Now, in the new music video for the record’s second single, “Love Wins,” Carrie’s fancy eye makeup is back. This time, Carrie wears mask-like splotches of electric blue and yellow around her eyes, matching the multi-colored powder that permeates the air in the second section of the video.

The clip mirrors the message of unity in “Love Wins,” starting with Carrie performing in bright sunlight, as strangers join hands to march together across a bridge.
