The 34rd Annual Country Showdown Local Competitions kick off in the Upper Peninsula on July 3rd! Follow in the footsteps of country music icons like Carrie Underwood, Jason Aldean and Toby Keith and enter in the largest country music talent search in the U.S. for your chance at fame and fortune.

We're looking for the next big country star. You could be it! With a grand prize of $100,000 at the national competition, the 2015 Country Showdown will help you get noticed and follow your dream of becoming a professional musician.

Country Showdown Local Competition Dates

  • July 3rd, 2015 at the International Food Fest in Mattson Lower Harbor Park

Dust off your guitar and play a few of your favorite tunes at the Upper Peninsula's country showdowns!

Winners of the local competitions will get to compete at the Lac Vieux Desert Resort Casino in Watersmeet, Michigan, on Saturday, September 26 for the State Finals. Here, they could win $1,000 and the chance to perform at one of the five regional competitions in the fall.

Regional winners receive an all-expense paid trip to the National Final for their final performance to compete for the $100,000 Grand Prize and the National Title.
