Local Country Showdown Winners Head to the State Finals!

Country Showdown Winners Haylie Richer and Briana Novak

The 33rd Annual Country Showdown local competition concluded on August 2, 2014. This ended our local round of competition and we wish the best of luck to our local winners as they start down the Country Showdown road to stardom.

On Saturday, September 13, 2014 at the Lac Vieux Desert Resort Casino in Watersmeet, Michigan, these four winners will advance to the U.P. Michigan State Final of the Country Showdown vying for $1,000 and the opportunity to perform at one of the five regional competitions in the fall.

The U.P. Michigan State Final excitement gets underway at 8pm EST (7pm CST) on the Thunderbird Sports Lounge Stage. For ticket information visit

Country Showdown Winners Kaitlyn Kachmarsky and Joey Enright

Regional winners receive an all-expense paid trip to the National Final, exuding talent and energy in their performance to compete for the $100,000 Grand Prize and the National Title.

Now in its 33rd year, the Country Showdown finds the most promising country music talent in America, giving these performers a chance to launch a professional career. We are proud to be a part of this tradition and wish the best of luck to all our Country Showdown winners. We'll be back next summer to host more local Country Showdowns!
