The Michigan DNR has verified that 3 recent trail cam pictures do in fact show cougars roaming the U.P. For years, local residents have claimed sightings, but it wasn’t until 2008 that the DNR began to admit the possibility of cougars in our forests. Here is the full story from the Michigan DNR.
