Kenny Chesney Dedicates Performance To Injured Police Officer

Sony Music NashvilleDuring a concert in Philadelphia June 26, Kenny Chesney paid tribute to a local police officer who had been shot seven times in the line of duty the previous day. Officer Christopher Dorman, a part-time officer in the borough of Folcroft, had expected to attend Chesney’s concert at Lincoln Financial Field, but the shooting altered his plans significantly. From his hospital bed, he reportedly said in a video message, “Hey Kenny, don’t forget me.”
