Keith Urban remembers those we lost in 2017 with a mammoth mash-up

ABC/Image Group LA For the second year in a row, Keith Urban ushered in the New Year by playing Nashville’s free Music City Midnight celebration on December 31. He also continued a tradition he started in 2016, closing out the year by playing a medley dedicated to the musicians we’ve lost in the past twelve months.

The Aussie superstar started with “Black Hole Sun,” a tribute to Soundgarden‘s Chris Cornell, before seguing into Gregg Allman‘s “Midnight Rider” and Chuck Berry‘s ““Johnny B. Goode.”
