You want it, you got it: George Strait cues up 60 #1’s for his return to Vegas

ABC/Image Group LAGeorge Strait‘s experiment of playing sixty #1 hits over two nights went so well that he plans to do it again.

King George first tried out the new strategy earlier this month at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas. Now he plans to do it again when he next plays Sin City on July 28 and 29.

ABC/Image Group LAZac Brown Band is adding four new dates to their Welcome Home Tour.

The Georgia-based band announced the new shows on social media, with tickets for the August and September concerts in Canada, Arkansas, and Texas going on sale this Friday.

ZBB will kick off their Welcome Home trek May 12 near Atlanta, on the same day their album of the same name comes out. Its first single, “My Old Man,” has already hit the top-20.

ABC/Image Group LABrad Paisley took the stage at the world-famous Tootsie’s Orchid Lounge Sunday night in downtown Nashville, celebrating the release of Love and War, along with many of the superstars who appear on his new album.

Rock and Roll Hall-of-Famer John Fogerty joined Brad for his ninety-minute-plus set, contributing his own hits, as well as the pair’s anthem of support for America’s veterans, which is the record’s title track. Country Music Hall-of-Famer Bill Anderson and hip-hop/R&B artist and super-producer Timbaland also stopped by to show off their contributions to Love and War.

ABC/Image Group LAKenny Chesney isn’t just singing about a “Bar at the End of the World” these days, he’s looking for it as well.

The superstar from East Tennessee most recently engaged his wanderlust on an excursion to Europe.

“There’s a lot of places that I’m curious about,” Kenny says. “I love being a tourist. I went to Italy this past year and I loved it because I love to eat,” he laughs.

The Recording Academy throws the private event every year for its members in Music City.

Charlie Worsham‘s sophomore recording, Beginning of Things, is available now. The video for the album’s first single, “Cut Your Groove,” premiered on CMT this weekend.
