Dylan Scott gives his breakthrough album the “Deluxe” treatment

Curb RecordsNearly a year after the release of his debut album, Dylan Scott is offering his fans a deluxe edition of the record that put him on the map.

A lot has changed for the Louisiana native in the past twelve months. Right now, he’s enjoying his first top-five hit with “My Girl,” and the woman who he wrote the gold single about is now his wife. As if that weren’t enough, the couple is also expecting their first child.

Jay Joyce, who’s known for his work with Little Big Town, Eric Church, Brothers Osborne and many more, is the Academy of Country Music’s Producer of the Year. He’s just one of the Studio Recording Award winners who’ll be given his trophy at the 11th Annual ACM Honors August 23 at Nashville’s Ryman Auditorium.

CMTOn Thursday’s new episode of Nashville on CMT, an unscrupulous reporter tricked Scarlett O’Connor into revealing that Damien George is the father of her baby. Though Scarlett adamantly denied it, the interviewer suspected the truth and ran with the story.

When Scarlett’s on-again, off-again boyfriend and musical partner, Gunnar Scott, realized the news was out, he was both angry and devastated. Scarlett later revealed to her uncle, Deacon Claybourne, that she’d learned the baby is a girl.
