Cole Swindell throws a honky tonk birthday bash for Tootsie’s Orchid Lounge

ABC/Randy HolmesNext week in downtown Nashville, Cole Swindell will help Tootsie’s Orchid Lounge mark its 57th year in business. In fact, the world-famous honky tonk is even renaming its annual celebration concert after the Georgia native’s new single, “Stay Downtown.”

Cole will headline the Stay Downtown at Tootsie’s 57th Birthday Bash the evening of Tuesday, October 10, outside Tootsie’s, on the stretch of Music City known as Lower Broadway. The show is free and open to public.

Prior to the big concert, Cole will celebrate his seventh straight #1, “Flatliner,” with a private party at Tootsie’s.

“Dear Hate” even outsold multiple cuts by rocker Tom Petty, who died suddenly on Monday — including classics like “Free Fallin’,” “I Won’t Back Down,” and “Mary Jane’s Last Dance.”

ABC/Image Group LA Luke Bryan made his first appearance with his fellow American Idol judges Wednesday morning on ABC, and shortly afterward, he tweeted that he’ll be back on Good Morning America on Friday.

While the project’s title and release date haven’t been officially announced yet, the country power couple is rolling out the record’s track listing at TimAndFaith.com.
