“Hell Yeah, Damn Right”: Brett Young releases his tribute to the Ole Miss Rebels

BMLGIf you’re an Ole Miss fan, you’ll want to download Brett Young‘s tribute to the University of Mississippi.

The California native pitched for the Rebels’ baseball team in college, and was inspired to write “Hell Yeah, Damn Right” based on the school’s traditional chant.

“My time at Ole Miss was so much fun and so impactful,” Brett says. “I wanted to write a song to commemorate the game day experience in Oxford at the Grove.”

Brett originally shared the song with his friends in Mississippi and on the Ole Miss campus, but decided to officially release it due to demand.

“Wrigley Cares: Helping Animals in Need” is named for the puppy Michael adopted this summer at Chicago’s Country Lakeshake festival.

“Wrigley is a huge part of my life,” the Florida native says. “She’s on the road with us and she’s there for all the major moments. She changed my life back in June and I’m hoping we can change the lives of other shelter dogs by lending a helping hand.”
