Keith Urban to honor Fleetwood Mac as MusiCares Person of the Year

ABC/Image Group LAKeith Urban is one of the artists who’ll honor Fleetwood Mac at the 2018 MusiCares Person of the Year tribute concert.

John Legend, Lorde, HAIM, Harry Styles, and OneRepublic will also play the benefit Friday, January 26 at New York’s Radio City Music Hall. Fleetwood Mac themselves will close out the night, which raises money to help members of the music community who are going through hard times.

Described as “Southern pop,” the project grew out of the experimentation Zac did on ZBB’s 2015 album, Jekyll + Hyde. Songwriter Niko Moon and producer Ben Simonetti complete the trio.

“Sir Rosevelt is a new chapter in addition to Zac Brown Band,” Zac says. “A new outlet for creativity, connection and art. Get ready.”

Warner Music NashvilleCole Swindell will celebrate his fourth Down Home EP by returning to some of the fans and venues that first made him a star, as he launches his Down Home Tour in January.

The Georgia native will kick off the month-long trek January 11 in his home state, playing Athens’ Georgia Theatre. Cole’s label mate Morgan Evans will open the dates.

Pre-sales start on Tuesday, with tickets becoming available to the general public on Wednesday. The Down Home Sessions IV EP follows on November 24.

Kevin Mazur/Getty Images via ABCWhile we’re waiting to see how Sam Hunt will follow up his smash “Body Like a Back Road,” you may just have to make do with a track from the new soundtrack of the Netflix film Bright.

Sam recorded “This Land Is Your Land” for the soundtrack of the film, which stars Will Smith and Joel Edgerton. The two play a vastly different pair of cops in the action/thriller that’s set in an alternate version of the present-day.

Bright: The Album comes out December 13, ahead of the film’s December 22 premiere on Netflix.
