ABC/Image Group LAChris Stapleton is the sole mainstream country artist to make Rolling Stone‘s ranking of the “50 Best Albums of 2017.”

His CMA Album of the Year winner, From A Room: Volume 1, comes in at number 30 on the list. The second volume of the set is due on Friday.

Arista NashvilleAs LANCO spends their second week at #1 with “Greatest Love Story,” we now have some details on their debut album. Called Hallelujah Nights, it’ll arrive January 19.

Lead signer Brandon Lancaster had a hand in writing all of the tracks, four of them by himself, including the band’s breakthrough hit.

“We all go through more of the same experiences than we realize,” he says, “and songwriting is a process of observing those moments. Our stories have different people, different names, different places, but they all have the same emotions attached to them.”

“Here’s some morning laughs for ya’ll,” he shared, along with an Instagram video showing him sitting on the side of his bed in a hospital gown after his operation. “Ya boy was feeling like I just drank a whole bottle of Old Camp Whiskey… the hospital had that good stuff,” he added, comparing his post-surgery painkillers to FGL’s peach/pecan whiskey.

ABC/Image Group LATim McGraw and Faith Hill‘s first album together, The Rest of Our Life, debuts at #1 this week on Billboard‘s Top Country Albums chart.

That makes the joint project Tim’s sixteenth to emerge at #1 on the tally, and Faith’s fourth.

In all, the record moved 104,000 copies in its first week, making it the #2 album on the all-genre Billboard 200 as well. Taylor Swift‘s Reputation — which is already 2017’s best-selling album — remains at #1.
