“Meant to Be”: FGL’s Tyler Hubbard shares the magical moment he met daughter Olivia Rose

ABC/Image Group LA Florida Georgia Line‘s Tyler Hubbard takes People inside his first moments with wife Hayley and their daughter Olivia Rose, in the magazine’s new issue.

“It was a pretty wild rush of emotions and I think Hayley felt the same way,” he says of the December 23 birth. “Right when she was born, they put her on Hayley’s chest and wiped her off a little bit and we spent a little time with her. It was definitely a magical moment, and a moment that we’d been waiting for, for a long time.”

CMAMiranda Lambert, Luke Combs, Kane Brown and Clint Black are all coming to your TV. New editions of the CMA Songwriters Series begin airing this month on PBS, as part of the 8th season of Front and Center.

Luke and Kane‘s episode — which was shot at the Franklin Theatre on the outskirts of Nashville — starts airing January 14. You can preview both of their performances on YouTube now.

The CMA and ACM Vocal Group of the Year will take the stage alongside the likes of Lady Gaga and Pink, as the show returns to New York City for the first time in 15 years. Broadway legend Patti LuPone will also lead a tribute to composers Andrew Lloyd Webber and Leonard Bernstein.

LBT could take home two trophies this year: they’re nominated for Best Country Album, for The Breaker, and Best Country Duo/Group Performance, for “Better Man.”

A public memorial service for Country-Music-Hall-of-Famer Mel Tillis will be held January 31 at 10 a.m. CT at Nashville’s Ryman Auditorium. Mel’s daughter Pam Tillis and his band The Statesiders are set to play, along with Alison Krauss, Ricky Skaggs, Ray Stevens, Larry Gatlin, Brenda Lee and others. Tillis passed away in November at the age of 85.
