Newcomer Jordan Davis pours White Wine and Whiskey, as “Singles You Up” cracks the top 20

MCA NashvilleWith his debut release “Singles You Up” making a place for itself in country’s top 20, Jordan Davis is getting ready to head out on his first headlining tour.

The trek will be called White Wine and Whiskey, and newcomer Jillian Jacqueline will open most of the shows. The dates kick off February 2 in West Peoria, Illinois, with stops in Dallas, Detroit, Atlanta and Nashville on the itinerary.

Mercury NashvilleThe artist now known as simply Tyminski will make his solo debut on ABC’s Good Morning America next Tuesday.

In his stellar career, the man also known as Dan Tyminski has won 14 Grammys, provided the singing voice for George Clooney‘s character in the film O Brother, Where Art Thou, and still remains a pivotal member of Alison Krauss & Union Station.

He’s currently promoting his solo album, Southern Gothic. You can watch for Tyminski’s performance of “Wanted” starting at 7 a.m. January 16 on ABC.

Country Music Hall of Fame and MuseumThe Outlaws are taking over, as the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum takes visitors back in time to the seventies for its new major exhibit.

Outlaws & Armadillos: Country’s Roaring ‘70s will focus on the Outlaw movement in country music, as well as the relationship between Music City and Austin, Texas. Look for Willie Nelson, Waylon Jennings, Kris Kristofferson, Jessi Colter, Bobby Bare, David Allan Coe, Tom T. Hall and more to be spotlighted in what promises to be a massive display.

The exhibit, opening May 25, will run for nearly three years.

ABC/Image Group LAEaston Corbin takes a break from putting the finishing touches on his new album this weekend, as he hits the road for his first dates of 2018. He’ll play Carmel, Indiana on Friday, before taking the stage in Mount Clemens, Michigan on Saturday.

The Florida native’s current hit, “A Girl Like You,” is his sixth top ten and the lead single from his upcoming fourth studio album.

After this weekend, Easton’s tour rolls on, stopping by Nashville’s Grand Ole Opry on February 20 and 27.
