Governor Rick Snyder’s Third State of the State Address on 103.3 The Country Extreme

Lansing, Michigan — Governor Rick Snyder Addresses the State of Michigan in his Third State of the State Address from Lansing, Michigan on 103.3 The Country Extreme.

The Governor talked about the progress that has been made during his term as Governor in Michigan. Rick Snyder said we have added over “176,000 jobs and we’re going to keep going.” The Governor also said Michigan is a State that is growing again in population. The Governor said Michigan will keep moving forward.

Governor Rick Snyder’s goal is to “Keep businesses coming to Michigan.”

The Governor added that “There’s now over $500,000,000.00 in the rainy day fund.” He added “When I took office, there was only $5,000,000.00 in the rainy day fund.”

Governor Rick Snyder also highlighted the issues of roads and safety in Michigan. The Governor highlighted how high the accident rates are in Michigan. Governor Rick Snyder’s goal is to make Michigan’s roads safer for all residents across the State by investing more money into our road transportation system in Michigan.

The Governor added that a new agency, The Veterans Affairs Agency, will be created by the end of this week.
