Resolutions – In one year and out the next!

Marquette, Michigan  –  December 30, 2013  –  How many times have you made a New Years Resolution just to fail a few weeks into the New Year?

If you’re like 92% of the population, you have yet to achieve success with a New Years Resolution. Seriously, according to the University of Scranton’s New Years Resolutions Statistics, only 8% of people successfully achieve their resolutions.

The study also ranked the Top 10 New Years resolutions as follows:

  1. Lose Weight
  2. Getting Organized
  3. Spend Less, Save More
  4. Enjoy Life to the Fullest
  5. Staying Fit and Healthy
  6. Learn Something Exciting
  7. Quit Smoking
  8. Help Others in Their Dreams
  9. Fall in Love
  10. Spend More Time with Family

I made a resolution for 2014. My resolution encompasses several of the Top 10, but I’m determined and I intend to be part of the 8% this year. I plan to stay on target with my resolution by setting small goals toward my ultimate goal and accomplishing them each one at a time.

How about you? Have you made any New Years Resolutions for 2014? Have you succeeded in the past with resolutions? Use the comment form below to tell me about your resolutions and how you intend to keep them.
