Barberini_FaunNow art historians have a reason to hate “selfies,” too — this after a teen on an Italian museum tour broke the leg off of a statue while trying to take a cellphone pic with it.

According to the Italian language paper Corrierre Della Sera, the unidentified student was caught on video trying to snap a pic of himself as he sat on the lap of the “Drunken Satyr” at Milan’s Academy of Fine Arts of Brera, breaking off the piece’s left leg. The damage was noticed by museum officials on Tuesday.

Although the statue dated from the early 19th century, it was a copy of an ancient original.
