Marquette, Michigan – October 17, 2016 – The first ever tailgate party at Marquette Senior High School Friday was an overwhelming success! The tailgate party was celebrating the Grand reopening of William R. Hart Stadium.  William R. Hart Stadium showed off the completion of brand new, state of the art field turf.  There was no better way to celebrate the new field than to have the inaugural game be the battle for the Diamond Jubilee Cup. The tailgate led right into the start of the game between the Marquette Redmen and Negaunee Miners.

JR and Friends were there with Ryan Ranguette, John Thomsen, and Pete Colbus bringing you the action live from the tailgate party. Ryan sat down with Athletics Director Blaise Zimmer. The Major was also on-site chatting with the MSHS Principal Jon Young. Nancy was at the practice feel bringing you a ll the exciting action via Facebook Live!

There was a very good turn out for the tailgate.
