Marquette, MIAugust 22, 2017 – Pack up your lawn chair and blanket so they are ready for Labor Day Weekend! The 14th annual Blues Fest will be taking place on the shores of Lake Superior. Labor Day Weekend, September 1-3rd, Lake Superior’s shore line will have an array of blues artists making magic on their instruments down at Mattson Lower Harbor in Marquette. Blues Fest will Feature the top blues acts from Austin, Chicago, Detroit, St. Louis, and a lot of cities in between.

Blues Fest will start off on Friday from 5-9:30 pm with FREE admission. Tweed Funk will be the first to perform at 6 pm. They will then hand the stage over to ERIN JAIMES AND DYLAN BISHOP at 8 pm. Don’t fret when the night is over because Blues Fest will continue on Saturday!

September 2nd Blues Fest will be a ticketed event and tickets can be purchased here. The day will start at 12 pm and end at 10 pm. Tyler Detloff will begin performing at 1 pm, and then the stage will be taken over by Fast Eddie’s Blues Trust at 2:30 pm.  When 4 pm rolls around Felix Reyes and Paul Linden will play music for you to enjoy and then MARQUISE KNOX will follow at 6 pm. Last but not least, THORNETTA DAVIS will be wrapping the night up at 8 pm.

Blues Fest will continue on September 3rd at 12 pm. Sunday will be a ticketed event. You can purchase your tickets here. Starting off Sunday The Occasions will begin to perform at 1 pm, and they will be followed by the Mid-Nite Storm at 2:30 pm. Josh Hoyer & Soul Colossal will begin their performance at 4 pm and then hand the stage over to SHAWN HOLT & THE TEARDROPS at 6 pm. This leaves TORONZO CANNON to wrap up Blues Fest with his performance starting at 8 pm.

While you are at Blues Fest stop at any one of the various food vendors that will be present to satisfy your hunger! A Beer and wine tent will be there as well containing some of the finest micro-brews in the Upper Peninsula.

Make sure you mark your calendars for the 14th annual Blues Fest September 1-3, 2017.
