Marquette, MI – November 29, 2017 – We’re just under a month away from the annual Christmas is for Veterans event at the D.J. Jacobetti Home For Veterans. Sunny.FM has participated in Christmas is for Veterans for years – it’s one of our favorite holiday traditions!
Each year we reach out to all of our listeners and ask that you pick up something for our veterans while out shopping for your families. Visit any of the locations listed below to find a box where you can drop off the items you bought from the wish list! The brightly colored wrapped donation boxes are easy to find near the entrance of the stores!
Pick up an item or two from the list and just drop it in one of the donation boxes. We’ll take care of it from there, making sure your gifts find their way to the veterans at the D.J. Jacobetti Home for Veterans. On December 22nd, we will bring all of the gifts over to the Home for their special Christmas Celebration!
Help us remember and honor our veterans during the holiday season. Review the list, pick up a few items and drop it at any of the following locations: Re/Max First Realty, Super One Foods, Snyders Drug Stores, Hudson’s Classic Grill, Our Grille, River Valley Bank, Great Lakes Radio, Northland Lawn, Sports & Equipment, and Jet’s Pizza.
