Suicide Hill, ready for the competition to begin

Ishpeming, MIJanuary 21, 2020 – With all the snow the Upper Peninsula has gotten so far this winter, the Suicide Hill Ski Bowl was ready for business as ski jumpers from around the world gathered for the 133rd annual Suicide Hill Ski Jump.  There were some cool things going on this year, and mediaBrew Communications’ own Alex Baysore was on the scene to tell you all about it.

Alex was joined on the broadcast by Eric Kuntz, and the two were thoroughly impressed by the sheer size of the main jump.  The guys talked all about the atmosphere that was building leading up to the competition, as well as the history that went along with the festivities.

Alex and Eric said that for the first time, the organizers have arranged for a beer tent to serve spectators.  With this added incentive, plus all the normal goings-on, the crowd filled up early.  The guys had to sign off before the end of the day’s action, but urged listeners to come down and experience the fun for themselves.
