Honor Credit Union Iron Range Roll 2015 Start Line Ishpeming 00

Team Honor: Amber Uuro and Marie Molise ready to roll!

Ishpeming, MIHonor Credit Union‘s very own “Team Honor” couldn’t have asked for better weather for Saturday’s Iron Range Roll. The weather was perfect for biking and running as participants took off from the starting line in Ishpeming.

Honor Credit Union employees Amber Uuro, a loan clerk at the Negaunee branch, and Marie Molise, Branch Administrator for the Northern Market joined the cyclists and runners that participated in the 16-mile fun race from the Cliffs Shaft Mine Museum in Ishpeming all the way to the Marquette Commons!

In addition to Team Honor racing along the Iron Ore Heritage Trail to Marquette, a group of Honor Credit Union team members volunteered at the first aid station at Old Town Park in Negaunee. The aid station volunteers provided water and thankfully didn’t have to provide any first aid to participants.

Proceeds from Saturday’s event benefit the YMCA of Marquette County’s Reach & Rise Mentoring Program, a program designed to support local youth by providing adult mentors who participate in service projects and other activities that help to create a positive impact on our youth.
