Many People Enjoying Jilbert Dairy Ice Cream Supporting Little League at Marquette Township Community Day – August 17, 2013

(Marquette Township, Michigan) - August 17, 2013 – Marquette Township Community Day at Lions field was a great community success.  People from all over the township came together.

Live music, Talent contest (Texaco Country Showdowns by Great Lakes Radio), raffles, bouncy houses, music until 10p.m., ball games, brats, hot dogs, and Jilbert Dairy Ice Cream.

Every $1  purchase of ice cream contributed to help the community Little League to get sports equipment, uniforms, and pay other expenses like field fees and scholarships for the kids.  Jilbert Dairy (200 Meeske Avenue, Marquette, Michigan) has been directly involved for 4 years supporting local community little league and Marquette Township Community Day was just another example.

There was $2000 John Deere Tractor given away.   And four winners of the Texaco Country Showdowns were chosen.
