Mike Pietila of Mike’s Rolling Thunder Motorcycle Repair ready to fix your used snowmobile, atv, side by side or motor cycle

West Ishpeming  –  January 19, 2015 –  My 1982 Polaris 340 froze up out on the 40.  I mean, the track just stopped and the clutch squealed like pig in heat or a chicken being chased by a dog.  I mean, the noise woke up the horses up in the round pen.  I paused, and in my mind I said, “Now what do I do?”

I was reminded again recently that the new snowmobile dealers really don’t like fixing the used sleds.  They want to sell you a new one, not repair your old one.  Sliders, bogies, bearings, an axle, the shock, the clutch, the collector, the chain case and the brakes, are not the new dealers first priority. They just don’t want to repair this older stuff.

That’s where Mike Pietila of Mike’s Rolling Thunder Repair in West Ishpeming comes in.  Mike is fabulous with older machines.  He likes and appreciates the past and vintage history and wants your machine to purr like a Kitty Cat.  A 1982 Polaris,  a 1995 Skidoo Grand Touring two up, a 1995 Skidoo Tundra 2 LT’s,  and Arctic Cat Panthers or Pumas – you name the older sled, and Mike will make her like new again.

I’m just saying, now you don’t need to junk it and spend 8 grand for a new sled. Mike will repair it, minor or major, from  $200-$800.  After Mike goes through it, your older sled will become old reliable again, just like new again with Mike’s Rolling Thunder.

You can find Mike half a mile south of Da Yoopers Tourist Trap south of US 41.  He’s in the old Bartanen’s Auto Repair building on the way to the mine.  Bring your machine over for repair or call Mikes Rolling Thunder Repair at 906-485-4881.
