It was a great day of country and bluegrass music today on the Outdoor Show, and our beautiful U.P. fall weather continues. Lots of leaves are beginning to come off the trees, and snow is surely just around the corner! I had two very informative guests on today’s show, and they told us all about the upcoming deer seasons!
My first guest on the Outdoor Reports for today was Jim from Marble’s Outlet which is located in Gladstone, MI. He had a lot of great info for us today regarding deer hunting, and he also told us what he has been hearing as far as deer harvesting reports in his area. He then took off his hunting hat and put on his fishing hat to give us his reports for what salmon fishermen have been seeing in his neck of the woods.

Today’s Big Boy Sports Report with Steve Whelan covered numerous sports topics. The first thing we talked about was the NFL’s Monday Night Football game, and we also talked about the NFL’s power rankings. We then discussed some Major League Baseball news regarding the playoffs, and we even got into some NHL news!
