Marquette, MI – November 18, 2019 – We’re right in the middle of deer season, so of course Adam Carpenter’s Outdoor Show had a deer hunting theme on Monday afternoon. The two guests on the show were both busy over the weekend, and they were happy to share their stories.
Adam’s first guest was Kim Wetton, who filled her deer tag on opening day! Adam always enjoys hearing stories from successful hunters, and this one is certainly no slouch. Kim had one buck in her sights, but when another one came along, she couldn’t believe her eyes.
Tom from the Rusty Rail in Cornell was the second interviewee on the show on Monday. Tom had his hands full over the weekend checking in bucks that had been shot by happy hunters, and as of midday on Monday, he was up to 65! That’s around 15 more than this time last year. He also has a kids’ contest going on in which any kid that brings in a deer (buck or doe) is entered to win a rifle!
Being Monday, Adam and Steve had plenty of NFL news to talk about on the Big Boy Sports Recap. Between their picks from the weekend, some questionable play-calling, and a truly baffling pass interference no-call, football was the bulk of the show. Also mentioned (however briefly) were the Red Wings and NCAA football.
