Weekend Video Viewing Finds Dynamite Soundtrack Song

Marquette03/19/12 – Early Saturday morning, I was kicked back in my leather Lazy-E-Boy having my morning coffee and I decided this  would be a good time to watch some country music videos on CMT. (I haven’t been very current on my music!!)

I watched several top notch videos from the latest current artists such as Dierks Bentley, Carrie Underwood, Rascal Flats and Jason Aldean. However, the one that really caught my attention was from Keith Urban. His video for the song, For You, has been released as part of the sound track for the new movie, Act of Valor.

Keith’s song is strong both musically and lyrically. Speaking to a sense of dedicated service, the military commitment  to one another and asking the question, “Would you die for the cause you have committed yourself to?”

Keith’s video, For You:

Other country music artists featured in the movie soundtrack are:

“Guide You Home” (Sugarland), “I Was Here” (Lady Antebellum), “If the Sun Comes Up” (Trace Adkins), “Two Soldiers Coming Home” (Lori McKenna), “The Best I Can” (Jake Owen), “What It Takes”(Montgomery Gentry), “The Best of Me” (Josh Kelley), “Where We Left Off” (Hunter Hayes) and “Whatever Brings You Back” (Wynonna Judd).
