Nice Job, Flyers : E-Tracker Starts HERE!!!!

04/30/12 – Round 2 of the Stanley Cup Playoffs between the Flyers and the Devils started yesterday and it’s BIG news for myself and local NMU hockey fans. Wildcats’ very own former defenseman, Erik Gustafsson is smack in the middle of the 2012 Stanley Cup Playoffs and he is making a contribution to the Flyers.

Erik scored his first NHL Playoff goal in the Flyers’ Game 6, 5-1 victory over the Penguins. Gustafsson’s efforts are mentioned in Philly’s  write-up on Game 6.

In the Flyers’ 1st Game of Round 2 action Sunday against the New Jersey Devils, Erik’s blocked shot in the 2nd Period led to a goal by teammate James Van Riemsdyk, with Erik gaining an assist.
