Happy Birthday to Martin Maki!

Classic Country from 7pm to Midnight (est). It must be American Country Gold! Listen to tonight’s show HERE.

103.3 The Country Extreme's Elmer Aho

Marquette, Michigan — It’s not everyday that someone turns 93 years old. A BIG Happy Birthday going out to our loyal listener, Martin Maki from Republic who turns 93 years young on Monday, October 17th! Mr. Maki wanted to hear “Three Rivers Hotel” by Slim Dusty, and Elmer sent that out around 8pm (est). We hope you have many more, Martin!

In the 9pm hour (est) Elmer sent out an email request for Jimmy Buffett’s “Margaritaville”. Be sure to keep the email requests coming in at elmer@wfxd.com, or call Elmer at (906) 227-8888.

During the Bluegrass set tonight, Elmer played 5 Bluegrass tunes from your favorite artists. It was a little too cold tonight to ride the horse, so hopefully you stayed indoors!

Elmer also sent out a special phone request for Jason in Marquette, along with Bob, Julie, Ryan, Danielle and 6 month old Landyn. It was really nice to have you folks here at the station! The request was June Carter-Cash and Johnny Cash’s “Jackson”. We know Landyn will grow up to love Elmer Aho and traditional country music on American Country Gold!

Be sure to tune in as we do it all over again next Saturday, October 22nd from 7pm to Midnight (est) for American Country Gold only on 103.3 The Country Extreme….Your Home for America’s Music!
