7/23/2012 (Courtesy TheBoot.com) — Good Morning! The rumors are confirmed! Carrie Underwood has indeed joined forces once again with Aerosmith frontman Steven Tyler, this time on his band’s upcoming album, Music From Another Dimension. The legendary rockers hope featuring the country music superstar on the new project will earn them a whole new fanbase.

“The surprise track was a duet — and he recorded the duet with Carrie Underwood,” confirms Mike Mullaney, Music Director of Boston radio station Mix 104.1. “People should think back to the one that Bon Jovi did with Jennifer Nettles from Sugarland (“Who Says You Can’t Go Home”) — that kind of vibe. Obviously he’s fresh off ‘Idol’ and he knows the power of Carrie Underwood. At first, the rest of the band didn’t want to put it on there but their label convinced them, ‘Guys, this will get you airplay in red states.’ So that was that.”
