7/26/2012 (Courtesy TheBoot.com) — Good Morning! Is Brad Paisley the next country star to join a singing competition show? Blake Shelton can definitely attest to the positive effects from his time as a coach on “The Voice.” The same can be said for Keith Urban, who appeared on the Australian version of the show. Jennifer Nettles just helped one of her protégés win the inaugural season of “Duets.” And then there’s John Rich, who is preparing for a stint on “The Next: Fame Is at Your Doorstep,” which premieres Aug. 16.

Deadline.com reports that “American Idol” producers are “seriously considering” Brad for one of the empty chairs, left vacant by the departures of Steven Tyler and Jennifer Lopez. But a representative for the “Camouflage” singer tells The Boot that they have “no information to share” at this time.

One Response to Could Brad Paisley Be the Next American Idol Judge?

  1. I’m excited to hear if Brad Paisley’s taking the job on American Idol. I love his music and now I can watch him provide guidance to the talent on my favorite primetime show. AI’s a great show I’ve been watching for a few seasons thanks to my coworker at Dish who suggested it. I love this show and it’s one of the best on primetime. Watching primetime has been more enjoyable using the Auto Hop feature which allows me to skip commercials. This will be something I can use all the time, since I don’t like commercials and I never like having to manually fast forward them either. Now I can choose to skip commercials or let them play on my primetime shows. This isn’t an automatic feature, and I need to confirm if I want to skip commercials before I watch each recording. No more over fast forwarding and I can save the life on the batteries on my remote.
