Music to Feed the Soul on Thursday in Marquette

Marquette, Michigan– A Music to Feed the Soul Concert: A Hunger Relief Fundraiser Event will be held on Thursday,

Northern Michigan University in Marquette, MI

September 6th (tonight) from 7 to 8:30 p.m. in the Great Lakes Rooms of the University Center at Northern Michigan University.

The event, sponsored by Lutheran Campus Ministry, will feature String Theory, featuring Kirsten Gustafson, Steven Leuthold, and Dave Ziegner, will entertain the crowd playing live jazz music with a bossa nova influence.

Other artists will include Bret Hanson, Mike Krah, Adam Deloria, Joe Bailo and Johnny 5 a.k.a. Everything Under The Sun, offering a variety of music influenced by rock legends like Stevie RayVaughan, The Doors, Sublime, The Grateful Dead, Jackson Browne and more.

Admission to the concert is free. A suggested donation of $5 per person or two non-perishable canned goods is encouraged. All money and canned goods collected will be directly donated to the West End Feeding America Food Bank.
