Flat Tires and Me Don’t Mix…. Apparently

Those tires have served me well….farewell!

7/11/2013 Marquette, Michigan — What goes well with a flat tire? Not me! Last night I decided to take a bike ride all around Marquette and discover parts of the city I haven’t really discovered before. It was a beautiful evening, very few clouds in the sky and folks walking/biking all over the city.

As I was gazing around without a care in the world I discovered that my front tire on my bike was slowly going down. I thought nothing of it, but, before I realized, I had a flat tire…. yep, 2 miles from my apartment and a flat tire. What were my options? Well, I could have left my bike somewhere, or just carry my bike back to my apartment for 2 miles. I decided to go with the latter and carry my bike back 2 miles, heck, I needed the exercise anyway.

It wasn’t a bad evening, I tried to make the most of it. I enjoyed walking around Marquette on a busy Wednesday night. This city really is beautiful, and I’m really happy to live in such a place that offers so much beauty. So I guess my headline was sorta deceiving… maybe flat tires and me do mix!?!
