9/18/2013 Marquette, Michigan — Trace Adkins is returning as host of the American Country Awards for the fourth year, but he will have a new co-host — NASCAR star Danica Patrick.

“I can’t wait to see if I have what it takes to keep up with this racing superstar,” Adkins states on his website

“I’m so excited to host the American Country Awards with Trace Adkins,” the race car driver adds. “I have no doubt he’ll be able to keep up with me. I’ve become a huge fan of country music since I came to NASCAR and have been fortunate to be in videos with Miranda Lambert and Colt Ford. This is going to be a really cool experience and I’m excited to be a part of it. It’s going to be a great show!”.

Adkins hosted the ACAs by himself for the inaugural broadcast in 2010, and was joined by singer and Broadway star Kristin Chenoweth in 2011 and 2012.

The American Country Awards will air live from Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas on Tuesday, Dec. 10th at 8PM ET on Fox.
