Elmer Aho – Host of American Country Gold on 103-FXD

7/30/2014 Marquette, Michigan USA — Many of you have been very concerned about Elmer Aho since his health scare nearly 2 months ago. Elmer Aho more than appreciates your sincere thoughts and prayers while he’s been away from the microphone on Saturday night. I thought since I’ve been keeping in touch with Elmer at least a couple times during the week since his health scare that I would give you an update on Elmer Aho’s progress.

I had the chance to speak with Elmer Aho on the phone last night for about 20 minutes. He sounds great! He’s doing a lot of the same activities he did before his health scare. He’s been at home in Gwinn with his wife and family. He’s in very good hands and has been receiving great care from his doctors and loved ones.

Elmer Aho sounded great on the phone. He said he’s slowly but surely gaining back his strength. He’s also more than eager to get back to the microphone on Saturday night to host American Country Gold on 103-FXD from 7pm to Midnight on Saturday. Elmer also said that he can’t thank you enough for your support during this difficult time.

Elmer said that he doesn’t know the exact date that he will be back to host American Country Gold LIVE, but he does hope it will be some time very soon. Elmer wants to have enough strength to pull an entire shift from 7pm to Midnight on 103-FXD. So, in the meantime, we will continue to bring you a previous show on American Country Gold from 7pm to Midnight every Saturday night.

I hope this update gives the comfort you need while you wait (patiently) for Elmer Aho to return on Saturday night. And believe me when I say we ALSO cannot wait for Elmer Aho to return to host American Country Gold on Saturday night as soon as he’s back up to par!
