8/9/2014 Sands Township, Michigan — The Marquette County Fair continued on Saturday in Sands Township with the best Chicago Dogs on the Planet… and a visit from my Uncle and Aunt from Fort Worth, Texas! In every direction you looked at the Marquette County Fair, smiling faces from the Wild World of Animals to the Go Kart Races could be seen all over the Fairgrounds.
You enjoyed the music of Brian Matthews and Travis Swanson. You also had a chance to “Win the Meat” at the 4-H Livestock Sale that was held before noon at the Marquette County Fair. 4 WINNERS walked away with their fair share of 80 pounds of premium pork! Major Discount and Gordon Mielke were with you throughout the entire livestock sale during “Win the Meat” at the Marquette County Fair. Thanks to Ron Lauren from Honor Credit Union in Gwinn, Marquette, and Negaunee for participating in the “Win the Meat” contest at the Marquette County Fair in Sands Township.
Many of you also stopped by the Great Lakes Radio booth to get registered to win the $12,500 Bathroom Makeover from Mathews Floor Fashions, Champion Glass & Countertops, Stone Reflections, and Trudell Plumbing & Heating.
