Beautiful Fall Colors can still be found in Marquette County.

Ishpeming and Negaunee’s Heritage Trail offers a wide array of colors.

Ishpeming/Negaunee, Michigan — This week could be the last week for you to check out the beautiful fall colors in Western Marquette County. The recent wind storm that swept through Marquette County wreaked havoc on the leaves in the area, but there still are some beautiful spots to check out!

I had an opportunity to take a nice stroll along the Heritage Trail that links Ishpeming and Negaunee together. If you haven’t had a chance to take a walk on this beautiful trail, I would definitely suggest you check it out. After all, it doesn’t look like the warm weather will be sticking around too much longer, so take advantage of it.

As you’ll see in this series of photos that were taken from the Heritage Trail, there are still plenty of colors to be found! This coming week will likely be the last week that you’ll be able to check out these colors in Western Marquette County. Get out and take advantage. Enjoy!
