Ishpeming, MIAugust 31st, 2011- The Three Wise Men (+1) rocked the Roosevelt Cultural Center tonight on the Local Artist Show on 103.3 WFXD. “Major Keyboard” Todd Noordyk was the featured guest and host George Knight wasted no time getting the blues band right into their set.

Lead Guitarist Walt Lindala took off into a three song set, singing such blues titles as “Mary Had a Little Lamb” and B.B. King’s “Everyday I Have the Blues”.

The second and third sets featured jam sessions with Doctor Don singing “Five Long Years”, “Trying to Live My Life Without You” and “Born Under a Bad Sign”.

Walt sang the final song of the show, Junior Wells’ “Checkin On My Baby” as Mark Johnson on bass, Todd Noordyk on keys and drummer Doc all played the song until they ran out of time.

The Three Wise Men will be playing tomorrow, Thursday, at Flanigan’s Bar in Downtown Marquette from 6pm to 9pm.
