Proper Hydration is the Key to Great Days

My goal every day is to drink at least a gallon of water

Marquette, MIJune 13, 2017 – Ever have those days where you just feel sluggish no matter how much coffee or other caffeine drinks you down? You’re probably just dehydrated and you need to drink some more water!

Water is obviously essential for the human body, but people seem to underestimate just how much so. People also seem to overestimate just how much they can replace water with other types of drinks. You can’t. There really is no substitute for water.

One of the key benefits of drinking a lot of water is that you are going to feel much more energized. According to WebMd, water helps combat fatigue by helping blood transport oxygen and other nutrients to your cells. Water also helps you keep off those unwanted pounds! Water helps boost your metabolism and helps you feel full.

For me, I try to make sure I drink at least a gallon of water per day. Every night before I go to bed, I fill up a gallon jug with water, put it in the fridge, and it’s nice and cold for me the next day. If my jug is empty by the time I need to fill it up again, I have hit my goal.

Since I started keeping an eye on my hydration, my days have become easier, my energy higher, focus stronger, and overall life better.
